My smallest pup that was born in this last litter has gone through some MAJOR health issues. The day before he was suppose to get his 1st series of parvo shots he came down with what my vet thought was puppy strep throat. He has huge pus pockets under his chin. she lanced them and I took him home only to find he had developed more over various parts of his body. Took him back to the vet (5X) the 1st week of this occuring & her lancing them all the time. Finally had to leave him there and she took cultures and sent them off to find out just what the problem was. She finally called me back to let me know that she had gotten the results back and that it was because of a bacteria that grows in a low oxygen atmosphere. So he is now on steroids, amoxicillian & some other med. I had to give him to her along with his registration paperwork because i couldn't afford the bill anymore (almost $800.00). She called me a couple of days ago & wanted to know if i wanted to foster him so he wouldn't have to be in a kennel all the time. Needless to say, I jumped at the chance to see him again & spend time with him :):). Anyway went to her office on Monday to ask when I was suppose to bring him back & she gave me his paperwork & said he was mine again. She said that in her 30 years of being a vet she has never come across this & she said it was a learning lesson for her. All the hair he lost is now coming back in, his pus pockets are all gone, he is definately on the mend & loves sleeping with me/hubby at night. Even though I had to pay what I owed to the vet, it was well worth it & I would do it again in a heartbeat---hopefully never will have it happen again

What a beautiful little furry child :). You should be so proud of him. My pups are almost 8 weeks old and running the house like the adults do :). The little pup that we thought was born blind is just fine, the Vet said he was just catching up & his sight is fine, but we are going to keep him anyway & he has always pulled at my heart strings since he was born. He is the runt of the litter but I couldn't care less :)

I have a rescue female tha t is looking for a new home. If anyone knows anyone wanting new baby. She is about 3 I am guessing. Needs some coat supplements - fish oil works great. She loves kids and all people but is dominant when meeting other dogs - just at first meeting then she is fine - funny considering she is all of 8 lbs. Not the best example of the breed but she is a sweet girl.

Mia is wonderful... We're getting ready to breed her in November.... Found her a really handsome stud, he's in our group, Eddie to Muppet. They will have a gorgeous litter!!! You'll see her preggers when CoCo comes to stay with us in December!!!
